Week 26

Well, here I am at 26 weeks. Sorry for the long break between posting... we have been Busy! But we're finally getting settled in Bellevue. Everything is going well with the baby, he is super active. Lately it's been really fun with heartburn, leg cramps, swollen feet, headaches and more!

The best part about being home is having soon-to-be Grandma with me now so she can be more a part of this!

End of an era

This has been such a busy time for us! Eric and I are both graduating today, and I had my last day at work on Tuesday. It hasn't really sunk in for me yet that I'm finally done with my bachelor's degree and that I don't have to go back to EIRMC.

Eric is graduating Magna Cum Laude in business management, and has been asked to speak at his convocation tonight. He was also presented with the Newel K. Whitney business award yesterday where they honored him at a breakfast with the dean of the college of business communications. The award was for students who exemplified the qualities of Newel K. Whitney, which were described as "frugal, thrifty, innovative, loyal, humble" and so on.

Anyway, I'm so proud of how hard he's worked and I wanted you all to know too (even though he didn't want me to post all that).

We're so excited to fly to LA and spend the weekend with our awesome friends the Bird's, who we haven't gotten to see for a year! Then we'll be on a cruise for a few days before we pack up and leave Idaho FOR GOOD!

22 Weeks!

There is not going to be much writing because Lisa is not here, but here she is 22 weeks today. The average stats for the baby at this point is 15 oz and 11 inches from head to heel. I am able to feel him more and more and the other day we got to see him kick (barely) from watching Lisa's stomach. Lisa also informs me that 22 weeks is technically the age of viability, but I don't think the survival rate is that great this early.

Also the week 24 photo will be late since we will be on our cruise!

Peoria, AZ

Well, last weekend my brother and I took a trip down to Peoria for the Mariners spring training. It was a very good time. We were there for one night and two days and saw two Mariners games in Peoria and one Rangers game in Surprise (they played the Angels). And we got to watch batting practice and other fielding drills each day too.

Below is Ichiro taking batting, he was the most impressive...He hit monster home runs almost every pitch. one even hit the back of the scoreboard for an adjacent field.
