Prego News

For the last 5 days or so I've been having lots of contractions and back pain. Today I started a medication called terbutaline to help stop them. I'm one hour into the first dose and it's horrible! I had to take this the night before Josh was born for contractions, and I was up all night jittery and miserable. I'm pretty sure this is what it would feel like to drink 10 cups of coffee. As long as it helps though, of course it's worth it. My doctor has also increased my bed rest to "stay down as much as possible" (I think she's trying to take into account that I have a 2 1/2 year old to take care of).

28 weeks

As much as I detest putting pictures of myself on our blog right now, for the sake of documenting baby #2's life I'll just go ahead and do it! :) I'm 28 weeks along and things are going better so far than with Josh. I'm still doing bed rest a few hours a day to try and prevent pre-term labor and it's getting the job done! I do kind of feel like a ticking time bomb as we get closer to 30 weeks (Josh was born at 29w 6d) but I'm trying to stay optimistic. Since I don't have an abruption this time, I think it's very likely I'll go further.
This baby is very very active! He kicks me all day AND night, which is fun except when it wakes me up at 3am. I guess I need to get used to not sleeping through the night again for a while anyways, right? So here's me at 27 weeks:
And here's Josh in his new church outfit!

Happy Halloween

For Halloween this year it was cold and rainy so instead of trunk-or-treat at our ward, we went to Eric's parents' ward Halloween party. They had a little carnival-type set up for the kids with games and candy and it was a lot of fun! Here's our little monkey dancing to the music:
Busted! Scarfing down a cookie..
Decorating a cookie...he was very meticulous with his sprinkle-placement!
I love this guy!
He was a little over-whelmed at first from all the people dressed in costumes. It didn't take long to warm up though.
It was a Happy Halloween!
