Baby Update

It's a BOY!!!!!

I had an ultrasound to follow-up on the bleed, and it looks like everything has resolved and baby looks good. Even though I'm only 16 weeks they were still able to tell us the gender, which we are VERY happy about! I'm sure Josh will love having a little brother to play with! Pictures soon to follow.

Deja Vu

Well here we go again! I'm 14 weeks and on Sunday I had a small bleed. Yesterday I went to the doctor to make sure baby is okay, and sure enough the placenta has pulled away slightly from my uterus causing a small tear. They say it should resolve on its own and it had already started clotting. Of course, that would be more comforting if it wasn't exactly how all our problems started with my last pregnancy at week 15.

For now though, the baby is fine and that's what I needed to know. For the next few weeks I can't exercise or do any strenuous work, and I'm supposed to lay down as much as possible.

Here comes Baby #2!

That's right, I'm almost 14 weeks pregnant! My due date is Feb. 6, and we are very excited! I have to say it is so hard to be pregnant and have a toddler! I'm exhausted all the time and have been pretty sick. Luckily Eric is a huge help with everything. So I know I'm not major showing here, but this is what I looked like when I was like 20 weeks with Joshua, and I can't believe how fast I got like this!

Summer 2010

Ok, I know I haven't posted in FOREVER but it's been busy around here! Here's what our summer has looked like:

Eric and I did a Sprint Triathlon together, which was super fun but super hard!

We started potty training Josh, here's his "big boy undies"....this is still a work in progress, and I'm so burned out!
We finally got some real family pictures taken

We went on a cruise to the Bahamas with Eric's brother Ryan and his lovely wife Dani. We were childless for 7 days!

Summer has been pretty great, and we are loving the beautiful Seattle weather lately!
